Quick S question

In the next couple of years, Im looking at buying an S but need to ask a wee question:
Im of a large frame (mainly big/wide shoulders & legs) at 6'3" and was wondering if any guys of a similar build have managed to get in and drive and S1/S2
Im aware that the S3 would probably accomdate my frame better due to the wider doors and such, but Im just weighing up my options for the future

Someone will be along to tell you otherwise... But as a bit of a stumpy @5'9" I found it small... I know Shnozz struggles with Claire's S2 and he's over 6 ft..!

I'm 6'3" and about 15 stone so not small by any means - the space inside an S1 or 2 is fine, the door aperture is the only thing that may be tricky. Personally I've found it to not be too much of a problem but for convenience sake the S3 is better.

I'm 6'2" and a few stone heavier than dougc and have no probs in my S3. As others have said its more the getting in and out of the door than internal space. When you look at any cars make sure that no one has fitted extra runners to increase the height of the seat. 2 of the cars I looked at had done this. I was quite upset the first time I sat in one and discovered that I couldn't get my legs under the stearing wheel (thought I was going to have to go on a diet 
)

I'm 6'5" and fit comfortably in my S3 and have no problem getting in and out. Before I bought mine I looked at an earlier S with the curvy dash and found I could not get my knee between the steering wheel and the dash/transmission tunnel and therefore could not operate the clutch! The longest drive I have done is 405 miles in a day and at the end I felt no discomfort and actually felt I could have gone even further. Do buy an S you won't regret it!
I'm 6ft4 and weight the wrong side of 18st. I had an S2 for a while. The biggest problem was getting in and out of the car, especially if you are parking some where small and you can't open the door fully, but once you've developed your own method of sliding your legs in first you'll be fine. Once in, it could feel a little cramped on longer journeys but the S2 isn't a motorway mule. I think most S owners will agree that the little bit of DVT never hurt anyone and the that noise (oh how I miss the noise) will more than make up for it!!! Best to look at it as cosy!
