Garage has managed to loose the in-line resistor that was positioned on the engine temperature sender...can anyone please tell me the type or Ohms stamped on theirs? (Talking 2.9 V6 here)

The little wire resistor is found on the wire that travels from the single pin sender located on the top of the block, just below the throttle pot, back to the engine temperature guage. Its the sender directly beside the bigger white ECU temp switch at the front of the engine under the air inlet pipes on the throttle body.

Help please, as without the resistor the guage rises to the red and stays their...very frightening! Garage thrown it back at me to find.

Thanks
