Steve - the car was complete bar the fitment of the roof, but I was keen to get it roadworthy for the good weather (when it arrives
)
I was hoping to have had it ready for Pistonfest/Stoneleigh/Silverstone etc.etc. but the factory were stacked with work, hence the slight delay. It went up there earlier than it needed to really, but it got it out of my way so I could clear my workshop (which we're moving out of - again) and prep. the garage at home. I built a 10'x8' duoble storey shed to house all the cr*p that I had to move. It's full already
Once its back, I just have 2 knobs to move (I moved the aircon controls under the dash for SVA
, the proximity sensor for the alarm to plug in (5 min job) and fit the head unit and calibrate it (for the GPS and vehicle dynamic displays). Oh and the reverse camera too I suppose.
Anyway, providing the weather is fine, I hope to rack up some miles next weekend. I really regret not having more video of the GTR, so I'm going to take loads of the Can-Am. There's little or nothing available on-line too.
So stay tuned for some full-bore flypasts

Ideal Pete. I'm going to Thruxton on the 3rd for a Porsche event and the wife is away all weekend - so a good opportunity to get out in the car.

That's the one Gary. I met there last month in the Maser for the Italian themed Goodwood breakfast meeting.
The drive down was awsome, Diablo, DB9, TVRs, Fezzers. Guys from Ecurie25 and the Furball crew organise it butanyone can go I guess.
They meet at 7.30 am - if we are all going we should get there early for a good tyre kick and a chat!
I plan on it being the first run in the 550GTR.......
