Just fitted a minispares rear anti roll bar and assume that the adjustment holes in the blade that are nearest the bar provide a stiffer setting and the holes near the end of the blade (furthest from the bar) provide the softest setting. Any suggestions on an initial setting for the anti roll bar. The car is running with all rose jointed front end with the following settings: 1.5 negative camber, 5 degree of caster, Competition cones, 36 clicks on the GAZ dampers and neutral tracking. Rear set 2mm toe in 0.5 negative camber, competition cones and 15 clicks on GAZ dampers. The car is for track use only. Cheers.

I have the fixed 14mm bar and it is ace. I'd set it up loosest first and then increase it. Some old ones have an adjuster so that you can pre load the bar, yours just sounds like a modern varient. If it's a 14mm bar, I'll go and measure mine up as it's just right. Also, you've got to get it to clear the zorst, which can be a bit more fun than you think! Some people hang them under it (bad idea). Mine is flush with the back of the subframe.

Brilliant modification and highly recommended by me. It just makes it corner right. Depends how you chuck it though, you can go fast on 4 wheels or sideways on 3!

Set the ARB up properly. Pre-loading the bar makes anything handle like a bag of sh*t. I know as unfortunatly it took 5 races tracing the problem of an ill handling Mini 7 racer to sort it out!

Set the bar up so that with driver (or driver +1 if that is how the car is normally loaded) in car the bottom bolt that connects the drop link to the bar can be slid in and out of the ARB hole and the spherical bearing easily. Result is no preload and an extremely sweet handling Mini....

I have set the roll bar up with no preload. But not with me in it. I will reset the bar again with me in it (Or someone of my weight in it). Thanks for the advice.
