Vandals with pink paint, and AK Specialised Paintwork

Stuck my head out of the bathroom window this morning to see that some absolute BAS**RDS had decided it would be funny to splash pink paint all over chimp. I went out to inspect more closely only to see it was caked on hard as the morning is sunny. I looked up and down the drives and saw that they'd done about 8 or 9 cars on the street, including my mates girlfriends MX5. The thing that p*ssed me off the most was the fact that i hadn't covered it last night because of the good weather.
In my fuming rage i rang AK Specialised Paintwork in Calcot, Reading, (always been superb when i've delat with them in the past) who told me to run down straight away with the car. He had a look at it and recognised it was emulsion, and so sprayed some de-greaser on it and it wiped clean off. He then stuck some wax on it and it looked fantastic again. Without these guys i wouldn't have known what to do. They also sorted my mates girlfriends car and for no cost whatsoever.
What i don't understand is.... What drives people to do something like this to other peoples property? We were lucky it was emulsion, but if it had been varnish or similar everbody could have been looking at £700-1500 bills for the damage. Can anyone help me to get inside the heads of these morons and to understand what makes them do idiotic mindless things?

Glad you got it sorted ok. You will never understand these morons. I can only put it down to jealousy, they don't like seeing other people have nice things that they cannot afford and so have to spend their lifes creating hell for everyone else!

Its a sad world we live in when you can not leave anything unattended without the fear of some scrote vandalising something just for fun. What these idiots don’t realise is that one day they might have saved hard for something nice and some ass my do it to them. I am frightened to leave the cerb anywhere were I can not see it to avoid potentially £000’s of damage by some tosser.
Really does spoil the ownership when you have to plan in advance were your going to park.

had discussion with wife on monday as to whether the little shits who where throwing stones/peanuts at our convoy needing firkin good slap - but wife said 1 if you do they will squeal to th e do gooders or 2 pull out a knife a stab you. OK I am a very young 51 and it pisses me off to see the youth show no respect but confident as i am that i could kick arse - should we get involved or drive on?

I'm sorry for you but I'm glad you got it sorted. A while ago some b*stard decided to scratch their key over two panels of my car leading to the whole panel being replaced. These people do it out of two reasons:
- jealousy: they figure that if they can't have it noone else can
- laziness: they resent the fact that someone works hard to afford something that they cannot (even though they don't even have the intelligence to try to get one for themselves)

You have my sympathy. I had a very deep gash taken out of my off side door, the very 1st day I had my Griff. They must have used a 'kin' pick axe. I parked it on an M6 Service station and when I came out.... there it was, I could not believe it. I thought I was in for a right old time through Tiv ownership. I'm careful where I leave now. No problems with mindless Tw..ts since/so far.

I got involved and in a way I'm glad I did because those scrotes have now stopped throwing stuff at my house every night but I almost got a complete pasting - I was lucky they were too pissed to figure out what to do. I'm 6', 42 and resonably fit but 14 year olds are much stronger and fitter than they look. If one of them had had a knife I wouldn't be here.
I joined my local police Safer Neighbourhood scheme instead, now we have patrols down our street from time to time and it has helped a lot.
