Woo!! Hooo!!! I am finally back into a TVR!!!!

Well the deed is done, after years worth of saying I am going to do it I finally have!!
The MX5 is gone and is to be replaced by a lovely Green Chimeara!! Although I must admit to some apprehension......nice fun reliable car soon to be replaced by a possible money pit on wheels............ah who cares it's got a V8!!!
She is currently with Austec having a few bits put right, nothing particularly problematic I just wanted it 'right' before I picked her up - but the wait is killing me, I feel like a kid who has just been told Christmas has been postponed!!!!
Had the car inspected at Astec as well and they gave it a really good bill of health saying they often give people looking at cars of this age (1996) 2 pages worth of faults, mine had only 7......seven minor faults that is!!! I think their words went something like "if you are looking for one of these cars then we would recommend you buy it, as it is a good example" .................something like that anyway.
I am so excited I am bouncing off the walls and boring the cr@p out of anyone who will listen to me!!

Well done and welcome back to TVR. I come from a TVR family (my Dad is on his third car and my brother (TimmyArt) is on his second. Having sold my Westfield (a bit too fierce and uncompromising IMO) I wanted to replace it was something but wasn't sure what. I wnated to avoid another kit car and was tempted by the reliability of MX5s (they're certainly great sports cars). However, in the final analysis they lack the sense of occasion which all TVRs posess. I started hunting for an S in January, bought a dark blue S2 with Magnolia leather in February and haven't stopped grinning......
