Well where shall I start???...............
...........during the Tunnel Run ( and in the VERY early hours of the morning) we were asked if we would like to drive the Saggy at the start of the gumball.
The conversation :
Me: Is he having a laugh. I've been up all night and I'm really tired.
Bal: I'm really tired but I'm not THAT f
g tired. So we met Gruffy in London and went to the Trafalger Hotel.
While they were stickering up our cars we were told that we could go into the underground garage and look at the Gumballers cars.
It was the most amazing sight. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven ( pics will follow)
We then wandered around and saw loads more interesting cars and people.
We were then asked to take the cars to the starting grid and asked to attend the drivers briefing back at the hotel.
Bals claim to fame is that he took a p
ss next to Alex Roy. My claim to fame pics will follow
We had the most wonderful weekend - Tunnel Run and interview for Sky One show with Emma Parker Bowles
Looking at some of the most beautiful cars on the planet and hob nobbing with the rich, the very rich and the famous.
For us it doesnt get much better than that.
It was the most fantastic experience. I have to admit to getting very emotional about it all - Special THANKS to Eddie, Gruffy and Gumballer.
Sorry If I've bored you all with this post but it was such a special thing to do I just wanted to share it.

uncledaveI was there as well, it made my day seeing a Sagaris in the line up, are you hoping to do the whole trip or just part of it?
Good to see some TV coverage, just a shame there was nothing on BBC or ITV, not even on the local news.
What struck me about the day was the number of people ther at the start, so many more than I think they were expecting and also the smiles on the Police faces, they really looked like they were enjoying themselves, although I am sure that they will have been upholding the law later that evening.
Great to have a TVR & a P'header involved & will look forward to the updates......good luck.CK
