Hi folks, Yep for general service and repairs etc Dan's the man. Looked after my Chim for 5 yrs and saved me a load of cash. I know he is currently looking after at least 1 chim and 1 griff. YB, The griff you saw on the 57 would be my mate Brian who lives in skelly, I told him his reversing lights are stuck on the other day .
TTFN Dave.
Ps YB, did you get your susp sorted?

Not got the suspension sorted, too much on at work so just not finding the time to get it booked in. I'll try and do it this week.

Oh by the way Timothy, with the Darling Buds of May as your role models then us Yellowbelly's can feel technically very capable servicing TVR tractors

When you look inside a modern day tractor cab and see the banks of electronics, computer controled whatits, sequential 20sp gearboxes, headland managment controls, GPS tracking systems, adj power output engines, active susp systems, auto settings for draft controll, power shaft drives, diff locks, wheel slip monitors........crikey i could go on all night. And then you put some high school drop out with an IQ of a potted plant on the bloody thing. All that technolegy wasted
Err, now what was the point of this post.............Oh yes, I reckon that by comparison servicing your average TVR would be a walk in the park. (inspite of what some dealerships would like us to believes)

I shouldn't joke I've been looking at moving to the Lincoln area as the South East is just too damb overcrowded.

There's nowt wrong with the Darling Buds of may, I used to stay at a friends house that featured in the programme, and how can anyone not fancy the arse of the young Catherine Zeta Jones? Just a shame she prefers wrinklies.

Tim,
All be welcome up 'ere
[switch off]yokel mode[/Switch off]

That young ladies rear arsepect was rather wonderful, (RToy will be along soon to express his appreciation!!)

As for moving up this way it is most rewarding as far as the type of housing you can buy for the money, like for a two up two down in Deal you could buy the whole of Boston but beware the webbed fingers and toes.

We have too few Cerbies so you would be most welcome but beware the tractor drivers, as Dave mentioned, spotty youths in charge of £100k of high tech machinery.
Oh for the days of the little grey Fergie 35

Now look here YB, I know a lot of Welsh folk and it is not fair to slander them like that. Infact less than i/2 of them have any interest in sheep at all.

PMSL

OK so that rules out most of the females of the welsh population.

the rest, alledgedly, are either sheepdogs or Sheeps_a_g_rs but, having lived in Colwyn for 6 months, any opportunity for a cheap shot is gratefully taken

note my expensive/extensive legal education

Yellabelly what region do you belong to? I thought I lived too far away from any regional club so I have not bothered.

Stuff about farming equipment

Indeed......went to the recent Lincolnshire show and was mightily impressed by all the fancy farming machinery on display. Suprisingly interesting and very complicated. I like stuff like that My favorite bit of kit though was the 200ton mobile crane.....I wanted to take it home and lift my house up with it

P.S. Useful to know that there's a a local guy able to fix TVRs. RTOY, how is he with Tuscans?

Took my 95 Chimaera to Dan for its annual and was well pleased with the service. Took it back today for an advance retard problem which Dan had noticed. So after sourcing the part I took it back to him to fix.

Dan is as straight as they come which is not something you can say for most garages these days. Would recommend that you give Dan a call if you need anything doing on your TVR.
