TVR Specialists Near Shrewsbury

Hi, my dads chim isnt running very smoothly at the moment after suffering a flat battery it seems very uncertain at tick over and its very easy to stall when pulling away, it used to run great and never had a problem we have checked plugs and leads but wondered where the nearest specialist is who can maybe look at the code on the scu to see if a sensor is broken.

Central TVR of Stourbridge! I don't think it's too far away from you, about 45mins to 1 hour.
Andy or Adrian at www.centraltvr.com. They have done my work for the last 3 years, with no probs or fuss, and they have good rates.
I live between Shrewsbury and Stourbridge, and it takes me half hour to get there.

Definitely recommend S.A.S in Shrewsbury, run by Mike Evans, specialising in Auto-electrics & tuning - 01743 360370.

People go to him with problems other 'specialists' can't fix, as well as the regular stuff. He had 3 Griffs in last week, 2 of which run in the TVR Speed Champ, which had a lot of work done & were then set up on his 400bhp rolling road with Mark Adams (who like me lives in the area). They have helped thoroughly develop my Ginetta V8 too.

This sounds good, how much is a mark adams session aswell?

Mine was £300 a year ago, for an unusually long 5-hour session, trying different injectors etc. But you may need to budget for one of Mark's adjustable ecus on top of that if you want fuel & ignition fully mapped - best to ask Mike direct.

I am a Cerbie owner living in the Shrewsbury area and in the past I have had a great service from Mike at Horizon Motorsport in the West Midlands. Last year I had a slight accident with a badger and Ian from Hanmer motors in Wem did a great job of sorting me out. He too is a TVR owner and often has some in. He is well worth speaking too for any work.

Hi all, I live in Shrewsbury, and have a Griff.
When I bought my Griff from a dealer 2 years ago, he told me it was well sorted, but after a visit to Horizon Motorsport in Cradley Heath, it felt like a new car. Mike went over it thoroughly, and I leave every time full of confidence in the car.
I have however heard very good reports about SAS and should realy give them a try sometime, especially as I only live 0.5 miles from them!!!

Yeah there a quite a few tvrs in shrewsbury by the looks of it. The one i regularly see is a turquoise chimaera 5ltr driving on the b5062 and then i see it when im getting lunch in newport parked on the cobbled street anyone on here?
Shame that its my dads tvr cant wait to be able to afford my own one day
