More on my manifolds
Discussion
After my 4 week struggle trying to remove my manifolds I’m almost ready to put them back on the car.
I thought that I would mention my village mechanic did the welding for me for £5, it had gone in several places. The village based engineering company skimmed the manifolds for £30. It certainly pays to shop locally.
My gasket sets have just turned up from ACT, so once I have some new bolts I should be back in action.
Incidentally, the man at ACT suggested I use steel bolts not stainless, w.r.t galvanic rusting in the heads. So, I will take this advice and use mild steel.
What do you guys think about this.
