Hiya mate, wheels, they look nice, where? how much? and is there a choice of colours? I have heard aluminium can be anodised, and was wondering how durable it would be, got any ideas on that mate, cheers.

hi powder coating the wheels in anthracite cost about £280 - they were done at lap tab in birmingham - the guy who runs the place is a miserable sod but they really did a nice job. I'm having some other wheels done at the moment at 'triple s' in bingley who are friendly and do good work. Powder is available in most colours and if done properly will last for ever - bad quality powder coating like on tvr chassis is another thing ........
anodising is a soft oxide layer on the surface and is no good for vehicle stuff - there are other types of electro chemical treatments like hard anodising , kermachrome etc - it all boils down to what sort of finish you like. I always like dark coloured powder coat for most things so you don't have to clean stuff. How are the carpets coming on ?

It`s a tricky little number, especially in the passenger footwell, I am about halfway. It`s one of those jobs that seem to go on forever, at least the old carpet gives a pattern to go on and I am looking foward to seeing the finished article. Oxford dark blue and cream are the colours, the drivers footwell looks nice, just gotta get rid of the smell of glue!
