Can't agree more. I'm not perfect, but I try to be courteous and helpful, and it rarely does me any favours. Middle lane hogs and the 'i'm not letting a eurobox pass my BMW/merc/jag/what ever' sort are rife. Yesterday even as a pedestrian, I had a Merc driver come within 6 inches of me while walking over a crossing with a green man. Why? John, I suggest you stay in Germany/Europe they are much better (in my experience), with the exception, maybe, of the Parisiens and the Italians. Sparks

Interesting views, John. I'm afraid that I too find a great deal of lousy driving and rude behaviour on British roads. My TVR attracts less foul mouthed shouting, V pulling and dangerous manouvers than my Porsche as less people recognise it - although with TVRs increasing publicity in mainstream automotive periodicals and TV I expect that will change. Its the result of envy and breathtakingly small reproductive organ size. Having said that I've had quite a few happy conversations with people who wish to talk to me simply to say that they like my car and enjoyed seeing it. Brits: We're not all bad. Our Goverment's simplistic views on road safety are however reprehensible.

The experience I have found is the "proper" sports car owners are usually very curtious and observant. Were-as the souped up pug/ford/vaxhaul with the 4" exhaust pipe are the real t*ssers. (max power/carnage style) as they will 'race/cut you up etc' to prove how good their car is IMO they are the ones with the small genitals.
