what tyre preasures are people using on the v8 please ?

I seem to remember that they're 28 on the front and 29 on the back?

Depends on the type and size of tyres, but typically somewhere around 24/26 psi. Some run down to 20/22 and some up to 26/28, there are no absolute rules.
