TO bearing guide tube screws - HELP?
Discussion
Anybody know what, if any, thread locker is used on the 2 phillips-head screws that hold the TO bearing guide tube to the front of the transmission? I have shattered two No.3 tips and still no movement of either screw, but starting to distort the cross. Any hints to loosen these safely? I need to install the 32mm version to match my TO bearing.

Allan. I had the same problem and simply couldn't shift the Phillips-head screws with a screwdriver. I used a "Dremmel" with a thin cutting disc to carefully cut two flats in the screws heads so that I could unscrew them with a spanner (wrench). Both screws came out easily this way. Alan M.
