Sad day arrives

Well after 12 months of joy my wife and I have decided to sell our 2.5 M12 - my beautiful baby. I have got a buyer already but wanted to ask a little question of you guys - I got it serviced by the factory up in Barwell about 800 miles ago. It has suddenly developed a high pitched whine when the engine has been run for about 10 minutes - I used to be technical and look after my own car when I had no money and I had an MG with carbs etc that were easy to look after, but with more money and the current engines I'm not technical. It sounds like it's coming from the belt on the driver's side (cambelt ?). I'm guessing that the cambelt needs tightening up and when it warms up it is slipping a bit - but wanted your advice - I'm planning on driving it to either Mole Valley or West Tuning at Thruxton - but wanted anyone's advice - does this sound like what I think it is ? I'm going to fix this before the new buyer gets my beautiful car.
Thanks guys
Thanks guys
By the way - my problem sounds exactly the same as one Wildwilly posted as follows....
Lucozade, did they manage to cure your car.
My car makes a really irritating noise which could well be the same thing. I had it serviced a couple of weeks back and ever since the belt on the drivers side of the engine has been squeaking like crazy, but only when the engine is warm. It's fine when I cold start it. I took it back last week, and they stuck another new belt on there, but now it's back again...

This is the stuff - SC967 silicone spray. www.hunterplastics.co.uk/abouthunter/coshhdatasheets.html
I used it on the multi V belt which sqealed after washing the car the other day (there's a vent right above the belt so it gets wet).
Or try this stuff (dirt cheap)

What other noise are you getting by the way? I have an irritating rattle at 2200-2400RPM which I think is the front turbo heat shield vibrating against the turbo, but not sure.
Aww don't make me feel awful - I'm sad to see it go - I don't know how many of you were at the parade at Silverstone - I was there - also spent a day with Noble at their factory when it was serviced - the car is great and the adrenaline rush is unbelievable - but I'll tell you why it's going....
I am 43 with 2 young kids, and 2 other cars to pay for - both boring but practical - a 206 for my wife and a Volvo for me....this was my present 12 months ago, and my wife agreed to it on 2 conditions 1) it was for 12 months 2) it would get the urge for speed (ex motorcyclist) out of my system. Can't say it has done the second as I'd love to keep it, and I'll really be sad to see it go.....but a promise is a promise....
The one good thing is that the guy who's buying it will have a great time....and she will live in North Wales for the foreseeable future - which is a great place for a Noble....

The fan belt made a noise on mine when i first had it, previous owner used to apply a genral lubricant which silenced it for about 5 minutes. I applied a light coat of Silicon Spray (Silo-Shine) and touch wood it has not made a single noise for nearly 2 months.
I would certainly give it a try before booking it into a dealer's!!
