Hi I have just finished my degree and I am now looking a brochure for the formula student program wishing that it had been run at my uni, or that I could still enter it. So I am looking for information on a race sires that allows you to design and build your own cars with a common engine across the compertion. Obviously cost is a consideration but any suggestions would be helpful. I am looking for a series that will allow me other to develop my embedded programming skills and other such things.

PS sorry about spelling and grammar.

Look up the 750 motor club. One of thier best formula's involves building a sports special to meet a set of regulations that specify such things as engine type and tune, but leave chassis etc quite open. I can't remember the name of the formula (porbably 750 sports)but it will be obvious when you see thier website (probably www.750mc but I'm not sure - a search engine should find it easily as it's one of the biggest mtotr racing clubs).

The cars come in all shapes and sizes, but generally resemble a scaled down prototype sportcar from the last 3 decades !

Good Luck.

In fact it's www.motorsnippets.com/750mc

Look for formulae and it's called 750 formula.

I'd have a go myself if i thought I could make something that I wouldn't kill myself in.

There is also monoposto. You can build your own chassis and use common parts. You also have a choice of 1200 bike engines, up to 2ltr car engines.

look at:
