New cooling fan/relay

I am going to fit a new electric fan to my S1. The old four bladed one is ok in winter but summers comming. I have been looking at the Pancet ones which flow loads more air throught the rad.
Has anybody out there done a swap like this and what problems or advice can you give before I go and buy one.
Does anybody know which relay the fan comes off as I have an override switch fitted as the sensor when awol ages ago. Would like to fit new one with the fan so I can have auto fan cut in and manual switch in car.

I fitted a 16" pacet pusher fan to the rad with quick mounts
seems to cool things fine - but I did have the rad rebuilt at the same time
as for advice - i'ts a simple job but you will need two people when you put the fan on the rad - unless it's off the car
if you have the time and inclination/cash
remove rad and get it reconditioned - fit the fan whilst it's off the car - stick it back in with silicone hoses after you have flushed everything out with a hose.
