All have Ford Duratec power with the engine in the rear.

Who wins?

What does Dare need to do to be a player?

The M15 interior is weak!

Doesn't (didn't?) the Farboud use an Audi V6?

But do you want a G12 !! or a car like a Nobel ? two very different style of cars. A G12 with a V6 in the back is still a G12, even if it was reworked to make it bigger, the flat dash barrel sided doors and internal chassis tubes, it will always be a basic car. Of course if you wanted a noble alternative it would be a complete different thing, I was lucky enough to see their prototype V8 car. In typical Walklett's design it has been very well package (ei:small like a Noble and not heavy ), the interior wasn't finished when I saw it but looked a lot more functional and mainstream, I don't know when they are going to finish it, looks like its been going on for some time but in my limited opinion definitely looks like a contender .

Do you have any pictures of the prototype G12 or, would that cause you to be rubbed out by the mob?

No, I didn't realize Dare had 2 new cars in the pipeline. Does Dare respond to their e-mails?
I think it is time for a Pistonheads/Ginetta Owners Club visit!

I saw them when getting spare parts. I don't think there are ready to show the public yet, go and buy some spare parts you might be lucky too.

Being a GB fan, I think GB should be sent out in hot pursuit of Farboud and Dare to bring us up to date. If we don't know what is going on, it's difficult to generate excitement!

Any news? My G4 is at the mechanic and I'm ready for a V6 G12!

Checked with Dare recently and typically for a small company, work on the new car is as and when they can fit it in. However, they're hoping to have the prototype up and running around the end of the year.

Any news GB? Anything going on at Farboud? How many cars have they sold? Plans for the USA?

Of course there are now two 'Farboud' concerns, Arash Farboud has sold (all/some?) the "Farboud" project to Chris Marsh (the 'Mar' in Marcos I believe) and work is continuing on that. Plus he (AF) has also started up an "Arash" project do develop yet another car.

So, along with rumours of a 'G50' from Ginetta Cars and something new and improved from DARE, 2007 could be a good year for us enthusiasts of British sportscars.

Hi jpf,

Ted deals with Farboud so I don't bother unless I meet Chris Marsh at a show, so can't help there I'm afraid.

Just thought I would kick this along knowing the Noble is close to being out and about...

With all that has gone on at Dare, Noble and Farboud, I was wondering what your thoghts are now...

Farboud more refined than the G12? The G12 a race car for the road?

Well, a year on and still no sign of the Farbio or Arash cars, Noble seem to have gone quiet whilst developing the Volvo-engined successor to the M12. All this makes DARE seem the height of productivity.

The Prototype V8 car was already under development in 2002 when we ordered our G4. So, make one of two possible assumptions - either it is nearly ready or not much has changed since then - your choice...
