It's predominantly a TVR meet but if your TVR is also cunningly disguised as a Lotus I'm sure no-one will mind!

Good turn out, Gary's lovely red Chimaera was just brilliant!! Nice to see excellent cars, Lotii, TVR's in such nice order. Just as refreshing was an old friend Peter Green, who I should make time to pop in and see more at his work!

Dave Walters turned up late (Lancer), and missed the interesting run through Kettering into Barton Latimer, but ruddy ell - myfords car sounded very very good as it belted up Barton Hill, I was behind him in the Tuscan

Stephanies Elan, I will beg a ride in that for sure

David if you are stuggling with stuff on the S3 for Sunday, then call Mark for numbers of helpers to get your motor ready for the run. I will waggle spanners if it gets your running.

Hi guys, yes it was a good evening I think we've started something here.
Thanks for the kind words re my Chimaera (dont forget Wilkinsons own brand showroom shine) but my car was just blown into oblivion when it came to the wonderful sound from those exhausts. The 2 Cerbs, Tuscan and the S were music to my ears - especially when we were under the railway bridge.
I didn't "blip" mine as it would have sounded like a whimper compared to you guys.
Thanx Gary for letting me hear your cherry bombs - I'm beginning to wonder if I already have them installed??
I will attempt to download the photo's tomorrow. Have a good blast at the weekend and we'll meet up again soon.

I only saw that this was on last night, by which time it was too late for me to get there

Although I'm not from Kettering I'm in Uppingham which isn't too far away so will keep an eye out for anything else happening in the future.

In the other thread someone mentioned about a run out to Rutland Water. I organised a "Rutland Rumble" with a bit of help from Dale over New Years w/end when it was grey and cold, but we had a good turnout.....

I'll check the calendar over the weekend to try and avoid any other events that are happening in the area, then start a thread to see if anyone is up for a "Rutland Rumble 2" in the next couple of months.
