Hi James,

I just finished a complete bare chassis rebuild of mine. Started driving it again last Saturday. Brilliant..!!

Anyway, I have loads of pics and scraped knuckles so let me know if you get stuck as I may already have come across the same problem.

Good luck. Its worth it in the end.

Ralph

best of luck james, ditto here. let me know if you need any help. lots of work ahead of you but well worth it in the end. think its about two years or so since i done mine. the por15 paint i used is holding up really well so far with not a sign of any corrosion comming back.
edited to say: just looked at the link, good grief its over three years since i done that time flies eh?

thank you for the replays. Update on the project the body is off. Very easier. Cheers for the advice. And also got the petrol tank off and the engine is coming out tonight. so i can give the chassis a good coat of paint. going to get her some new front shocks on front. and clean the engine up with new ss down pipes and paint the rocker covers. and silicon water and hoes pipes. and any what i can replace i will. well will try. as not many parts are out there. what im looking for is a nice alloy heater control panel. and switch. and does any one know a good retrim in west midlands. and a paint job for the body. cheers James
