Finally managed to get the door interior off and as the bible says (remove the 7mm nut easily through the speaker hole with 7mm socket).Ha ha is that some sort of sick joke!!! The nut was sitting on 50mm of thread and I don't have the extra joint in my arm required!! Also managed to leave my mag light in the door, so at least I know where it is now.

where do I get a new astray from? I broke it whilst gently tugging it out.
Oh yes I almost forgot, the door is still groaning
