Filling up the 360
Discussion
Have you tried trickling the last few litres in?
I know on my merc and porker if you put the pump in and let rip on full flow pretty soon they stop. I blame it on the petrol stations for setting the pressure too high thinking people can fill up quicker and thus increase their flow of customers and thus revenue.

I have exactly the same problem with the family ML merc, even after trickling the last bit of fuel in, the needle show the tank 1/6th empty.

Guys,
I seem to have a problem filling th 360 up with fuel. The last 2 fuel bars never seem to fill on the dash. Anyone else notice this?
Rich
Don't think we have to invoke the paranormal on this one Rich- it's probably your guage. Never had this myself but several of the 360 owners on FerrariChat reported the same thing. If you want to brim off your tank, the best way I found of doing this was to invert the fuel hose so the trigger is uppermost, and as Daz said, trickle the fuel in. If this doesn't work I'd be pretty sure it's the guage itself. It's pretty non-linear at the best of times and I never let it get below 1/4 tank indicated.
Kev
there is a problem with the fuel sender float within the fuel tank if you take it to a ferrari dealer they know about this and should be able to rectify it no problem the float catches on the inside of the fuel tank thus not going quite to the top leaving the guage two bars short hope this helps.

Good choice. I used Camtune on my 968 for clutch and service work- they are excellent people. Let me know how the car goes as I am thinking of replacing the ZM Coupe around April with a 996.

Thanks Guy. Camtune have a pretty good reputation and they seemed on the ball and friendly when I was down there.
Hope everything's OK with you.

Happy New Year Guys.

Just use the pump twice, or another one. I believe the limit is set at 100 litres to prevent numpties continuing to fill an already full car, and maybe to limit the size of a drive-off without paying.
