Anyone fitted their own 'STUD GIRDLE' ???

For those with raised eyebrows I mean the rocker stud reinforcement item (contrary to what my wife though it meant...!)

I have some Harland Sharp 1.6:1 Roller Rockers mounted on a pair of Dart Pro-1 Aluminium Heads, and was wondering if it's easy enough to fit these, other than perhaps getting some new rocker covers with a bit more room underneath them?

Any comments on perfomance/reliablity issues welcome as well... i.e. Valve Lash maintainence cycles...

I've used stud girdles in the past and may fit a pair to my current project.
They were easy enough to fit by following the installation instructions. Valve lash is just the same as the girdle is only there to minimize flex in the entire system. Tall rockers covers will be needed. Comp Cams is the make I've used in the past and I never had any problems with them.

I fitted them to my engine.
They are no problem to fit but will require tall rocker covers.
