I am always suprised at how many people don't actually know or have even heard of the name TVR!

I think a Duke from the SYTVRCC region has recently slapped in a 7.6L V8 in his wedge. It would go well on that car.

I dont think that the plate looks good on a TVR. G761 TVR will just look like a cheap attempt at a personalised plate IMHO ?

Looks better on a 1990 ish car but still looks cheap to me. Each to their own and all that. I am not anti personalised plates but there is something about this type of plate that reminds me of 'Irish' plates being used to hide the age of a car (eg like CAZ 9843).

Isn't Dukes a D plate? G might be a problem!

Although I think it is D***TVR so the plate might be older than the car.

I bought a mini a few years back with G553 TVR on it but need to get it MOT’d before I can transfer the plate, which is annoying. Needs a bit of work for the mot but I will do it eventually.

Do you have to MOT even if it has a valid one (as in this case)?
