I saw on the Mosler web site that there top of the line MT900 comes with carbon fiber rims. Wonder which ones.

Yep Dymags are about as good as it gets, they are the lightweight wheel of choice for most serious trackday Bikers, but come with an eyewatering price last time I looked!

Mind you they do look very nice

I think those are carbon fibre/magnesium hybrid wheels. From what I've heard, they do make a one piece carbon fibre wheels. I wonder how much do they cost?

...having bent several aluminum rims on other cars with low profile tires I'm also wondering how resiliant these are to cracking...

I LOVE carbon fiber BUT have you guys seen what happens to carbon fiber when it gets a hard hit from a hard object?? No carbon rims for me...

More than that, CF is a material notorious for being able to be worn-down by abrasion rapidly, despite its overall strength. For a street-car without sponsors and an F1-budget, I think they'd need replacement too frequently (even if they don't hit bumps: just from pebbles and road-debris) compared to the performance-gains you could expect, for them to be worth the cost.
...and given that I've never seen CF used on the wheels in any major racing-event, I wonder if there are safety issues compared to hard-wearing and ductile metal wheels, such as blow-outs? (but feel free to correct me if you have seen CF wheels used)
