Engine Tuning

I need information no tuning the 2.9i S2 engine I've been on a few Ford forums but they seem to be talking about Turbo's, Hmmmmm Turbo's...

What I after is basic tuning info, who to talk to. Stuff like polishing / profiling ports, Pistons changes / big bore kits, Cam shafts, ignition systems, air box modification or even has anyone put the 2.9 24v Cosworth engine in a S2. Any help would be grateful I used to Race bike engines not car engines, so I don’t know anyone.

Shnozz and Claire recently fitted a Cossie engine into an S2 - I'm sure he'll answer any questions you have about doing this..

The bloke who did it for them is pH'er too .. and he built our 24V race engine, so well worth a e-mail. pm me if you'd like to know more and i'll pass your e-mail addy to him if you like?

MB I'm sending my S3 into Austec Racing on Tuesday for them to get it on the rolling road and do their tuning magic. I intended to ask the guys at Austec for advice on upgrading the performance of the S3 so I will pass on any advice they offer.

Hello mb,

I've built a number of turbocharged 24v engines and provide some aftermarket parts ie main cap girdles and turbo exhaust manifolds. I fitted a n/a 24v into Claire's tvr which I think was a step in the right direction. My website details are in my profile and there is a page about the 24v.
