I've just knocked £200 off the Cerbera insurance

So it's now down to £490 !
I'm now insuring all 4 of my cars for less than I was paying for my 7 series & the Cerbera !
Admiral have started doing something called something called "Multicar" insurance - if you have more than 2 cars in your household, insure them all with Admiral & get some serious discounts (multiple drivers still get to keep & top up their no claims bonus).

Cerbera - was £695, now £490
Volvo 740 - was £395, now £311
Volvo 440 - was £400, now £330
(I'm sure I'm not the opnly person that has more cars than 1 per person in the household, so thought this might be useful.)

Thats a shame ! 
I don't understand why there is such an issue over grey imports. It's still a car with 4 wheels that you'll drive exactly the same as any other car. And the only tyhing thats different is a stuck on fog light rather than being built into the rear light cluster/s... ????

)I dont understand? I thought this was a multi policy scheme with discounts. So I thought that without no claims on each vehicle then you might struggle to get good value across your vehicles ie this inst a multi vehicle policy. Or is it?
Also - what about timing? ie my 3 renewal dates are spread over the yr. Is it best to cancel current ins to get them all aligned?

This makes sense! I have never understood why there aren't better discounts for having more than one car, after all I can only drive one at a time (there is only me and my partner on the insurance and she has her own car as well, seperately insured but with the same underwriter)! The only way I have managed to reduce the costs before was to apply limits on the mileage of each car.
I'll look into this, esp as my previous experience with Admiral was pretty positive.

Admiral used to insure my grey import ( slightly modified ) MX5. I wonder if they have had a change in policy?
I am now with a broker called Auto Torque. They currently insure 3 of our 4 cars. When I asked why they were so cheap I was told I was getting a big discount for each extra car I had with them.

I'm 31, no claims, no points, second car, 3000 miles a year and they want £690.00 this year from me
I've tried Performance Direct and they've quoted £645, with a £600 excess
Thought I'd try these for a laugh.
Both Elephant and More Than's web site crashed on me Think it must be something to do with entering TVR on there
