My grantura is finally up for sale on ebay. If any of you want to ask any questions you can do so here or through ebay, hopefully i will be an owner of a classic TVR again in the not too distant future.

Seen that on ebay. Lovely looking car.
Lots of potential there to restore the old girl
to her former glory. Would love to give it a go
but no time. Good luck with the sale.
Look forward to seeing the finished article.

well done Kevin £3401.51 must be a world record for a torsion bar car that needs a total and expensive restoration. Wonder what my very nice and restored Mk2a is worth. sTeVeR

It was me - maybe a bit much, but I've seen cars with a lot missing, on offer for not much less. I am sure that the price will fade into insignificance when all the bills are totted up. My intention is to restore it to do hillclimbs and regularity rallies

p.s. anyone got a crossflow head for sale?

Well done - you must post photo's of the restoration.

Steve - whats the registration number of your 2a - I wonder if it's the one we sold to you about 10 years ago.

Hi Rob no its not your old car, it had previous owner for 15 years and a lady for 10 years before that. It has had a lot spent and is very nice for a Mk2a. You still got that grotty old car that was in the shed overgrown with nettles. Which Nash have you got

The Nash is a 1929 Supersports - we still have the 'other' TVR - still waiting to be restored. Do you know where my old Grantura went - it's not on the Grantura registry.

Long time ago Rob. I'll need to check my stock book and its with the accountant at the moment. If you need a good home for the "other" TVR remember I live in one. Do you race the nash or is it a road car. That must have been one of the last Kingston built cars.

The Nash is a road car although I've done a few sprints with the VSCC - its currently having a 'new' Meadows engine built.

The TVR's on the list of things to do - maybe after the Meadows is built - but thanks for the kind offer.
