What's the going rate for a Straight Cut Gearbox?

4 Synchro? Clubman ratios or close? I'm sort of half interested. I think about £400 is the going ebay rate for a clean, unworn one. Do you have the drop gears with it? Or are they STD? Pitted gears? any play? Pickup pipe?

Hi Stu,

it's my Dad's and he's just gone out for the night!

He ran it for about 5k miles in the early 70's so it's barely used. h

He can't remember what the ratio's are with regard to figures but it's safe to assume they're close and it's low geared.

There is a drop gear with it.

I've just posted a similar thread on 'theminiforum.co.uk'

We've also got a race spec head with 'massive offset valves' and a balanced 1293 bottom end - though minus a block unfortunately.
