Hi all,

My s3c is at the mechanics to have the master cylinder replaced due to a leak. I gave him the part number from the alternative parts list for a replacement cylinder but his suppliers had no joy locating a part from the number. Can anyone tell me a make and model off a car that shares the same part e.g. ford sierra (doesnt look ford though I know)

Thanks in advance!!!!

Hello John, do you really need a replacement cylinder, I thought I did and like you, couldnt locate one. I replaced the seals and it has been fine. Let us know how you get on.

www.tvrcarparts.com/pages/partdetail.asp?id=118

Found this one on tvrcarparts for £51. Not too bad price wise. Has anyone ever bought this item. Can anyone recommend it or otherwise? Also might by this silicon hose kit

www.tvrcarparts.com/pages/parts.asp?vehicle=6&category=18&searchstring=Enter+Keywords

again has anyone ever bought this item. Can anyone recommend it or otherwise?

Likewise here when the slave cylinder sprung a leak. Bit of wet and dry to clean the bore, new seals (went with the best fitting ones I could find in my local auto-spares' 'junk bin') and its been fine ever since...

I have just looked out the invoice but there is no part numbers .
I am sure they will be able to supply you if you are unable to find the parts localy .
Master was £47 + p&p
