Fellow motor nuts, is anyone interested in going down to the New Years Day Classic car meet at the Phoenix pub in Hartley Wintney. Not a horsepower challenge but you get some interesting cars nevertheless.

If I manage to clear the red wine mist from the eyes and crowbar myself out of bed then I shall be making my way down in the Evo (Not classic I know) to acquire a dogs hair.

See you there, Ill be holding the whole dog not just the hair!! Shall probably be taking the Father in law so will be fitting the speed restrictors as these cars shouldn't really be driven on the road!!! ha-ha

Been there a few times and provding heads not too bad will be there on Wed! Usually people start arriving about 1000-1100 but it all goes on for hours. You'll be lucky to get in the pub car park, but if you do getting out then could become a nightmare. There's a large grassed area just past the pub where people park.
Pub has a very strong car heritage with many clubs using it as meeting venue so expect all types of cars, from very old to new. Gets packed. Good tyre kicking opportunity!
