Fernies having a sale?

Surley a mistake. 
To be fair to Fernies I was there last weekend and saw this car. It is of a different standard to the prepared vehicles and if you look closely at the picture it is missing a TVR logo in the middle of one of the wheels etc etc. The red chim 500 has faded paint on the front and so on and so forth. They are all good solid cars but not the best you can find (unlike the prepared stock)

I personally don't agree with that statement, having brought two previous TVR's from them there prices were and are very competitive.
There pricing structuring has appeared to have taken a turn for the better it sounds.
There’re just know giving you the buyer, the option of doing to work yourself to bring it up to showroom condition.
As the saying goes you pay's your money you takes your choice.
I bought a 94L chim from Fernies as a 'sold as seen' deal, it was a px against one of their other cars, too good to auction but too much niggley work to put on the forecourt and warranty.
Advantage to me was I got an honest appraisal of the issues with the car by their mechanic/body shop chap and got to crawl over/under the car in the workshop and managed to haggle a rate on the bits of work I wanted them to do, they put an MOT on it and any work that showed up was done FOC...not too bad.
Net result, I've got a car I'm chuffed with, theres a few jobs still to do that don't stop my enjoyment of the car, the bodys not perfect and perhaps its a bit rattly and saggy in places but then hey...so am I!
So I got a good, but not perfect car, from a dealer (with all the positives that brings, buying from professionals, not sharks, at a price a little up on the classifieds at the time.
Fernies were a pleasure to deal with, endless advice and assistance (post sale as well, trade rate on some of the bits that needed doing), Drew is a top chap, I hate spending money but it was almost pleasurable...and the coffee, what it lacks in quality it certainly makes up for in quantity...

Bliming, missing a TVR wheel cap and everything? No wonder its thousands less.

Didn't you pick your new 500 up from Fernies last w/e?
