I've driven one of these buckets recently. It had the performance of an arthricic snail. Hateful, hateful car!

The 24v Senator was a hoot, tail happy auto good for 150mph+. Vauxhall dropped it when the replaced the Carlton with the Omega, just as I needed to change my Senator. Shame, they lost a customer, there was no way I was trading down to an oversized Vectra blandmobile. Looks like they still haven't realized what they had, the Omega is still pants five years later.
