Spotted - racing for its pink slip

Was bored (obviously not working hard enough) and went channel surfing tonight. Watched a program on Men and Motors called PINKS where guys race for the title (pink slip) of their car in a best of 3 drag race. Complete drivel but at least it has big V8s... I think this was on Speed in the US. Anyhoo...spotted this natty little sportscar car on their website



Anyone on here? (I'm assuming that it wasn't actually part of the show...)

"PINKS" is in their second TV season here. Fairly popular. They get some interesting characters. Is racing for the ownership of your car a popular past-time in the UK? It's not very common here, but does happen.

In all my days of driving around with a PB-foot, only once has anyone asked if I wanted to race for pink slips...and I was driving a 1980 Yamaha SECA 750 at the time.

That looks like an Illinois license plate. How many red GTR are there in the area? ...Just a hand full I reckon.
