It's a '91 H S3, in a dark blue (non-metallic ) Ford colour with Grey leather. It's twice the car my old reddun was, and cheaper! Should be up here in a couple of weeks with a fresh MOT for the summer. Couple of Leven bits and generally in good nick. I've promised the missus she can have a go

Sounds good Gareth, let me know when you have it and I will pop up for a butchers - also when you find the local deserted airfield so you can let your missus have a go let me know as my girlfriend is desperate for a go of mine !!!!!

I will do. Re girlfriends - I think I'll be taking her to that vast expanse of sand in North Wales where she'll do no damage! Silly girl asked if it had power steering. Bless.

Adam,

Nice plates....`fancy plates` i presume ? Did you buy the back plate as well ?
If so, what size is the back plate please ? I know I can measure it but wondered if you knew so that I dont have to cut it down ? (confused, I am ! )
Cheers,
Adrian

Yep, fancyplates.com. Ordered the back plate in a custom size - I think it was 1 inch shorter - 1/2 from each side (err, he says stating the obvious). Will check tomorrow but FAR too much red wine consumed to measure accurately tonight.

Thank you all! Will be on the road before start of April. I've promised myself that I'll attend more events - S Club being one. I got to 3 local meets before being de-licenced so I'm determined to make more of an effort (before I lose it again!).

P.S - Desperate to attend Le Mans in a massive convoy...Yee Haa!
