Video Camera Ideas?

Anyone done a video camera setup for their cars? I know nothing about this stuff, but I know there are a few guys on here who do!
What all do I need and where do I find this stuff.
I want to get a video setup so that I can have in car video. I also want video of my new friends and I hanging out in the paddocks. The track video though I want to put up on a new website I'm currently working on. I saw a lot of guys at the track with video cameras that were mounted to roll cages, but I know there are also setups with bullet cameras that can mount to the roll cage instead.

Digital camcorder and bulletcam combination is your best bet.

I am going the bullet-cam route with a digitial camcorder. Actually, I have a video switch that I am installing and should have four or five cameras...one pointed at the passenger to capture those "HOLY CRAP" expressions.

However, I don't know what kind of digital camcorder to get. These bullet cams have RCA cables and I can't find a digital camera with these for audio/video inputs. I found a a digital camera with A/V audio/video inputs though? Do they make cables that interconnect the two?

Thanks for all your help and replies. I decided to go with the twin camera setup www.datatoys.com/default.htm and a used Sony DCR-TV70 camcorder. I figured I can always upgrade the camcorder later, but this one was a great camcorder in its day and is MiniDV, has the AV inputs that I require, and has Firewire for getting the video onto my computer. More importantly it was cheap!
Now, where should I store the camcorder while on the track? Maybe fill the luggage pods with foam egg crate material? I've seen foam egg crate boxes that some people are mounting inside their cars. I've got so much stuff on the rear bulkhead already though! MSD box, Fuel Injection ECU, Fuel Injection Datalogger, etc... I guess I could find room to mount a box back there, but then how the heck would I get the camcorder out afterwards. Leaning towards that sidepod idea.

I have a rear mounted camera projecting onto a LCD screen that sits where a rear view mirror would normally be. It works well - problem is the brightness isn't right, and the display screen is cranked up to its maximum brightness. It also has a GPS and DVD player in it, so I know it can display the image more brightly.

So I need a small video amplifier. Anyone know of where to get something like that?
