Video from Brands

Dear All,
Thanks to Guy's splendid efforts I now have 30 minutes of DVD from Brands. The file sizes are mega enormous so I've cut a small section and rendered it as low quality. This keeps it down to a 2MB download.

Love it Paul. My new video cam turned up today so I have been watching footage of me going round (thanks Alex S for the cam use on the day! ) Now I thought I was going quite fast till I just saw this clip.


Was that a bullet cam on the wing Paul? Very clever place to put it!

Wish I had pestered you for a ride in your car now!!

Yes the pencil cam was on the rear wing. It was Guy Stobart-Hook's (aka Gizard) and he did all the set up. I've got lots of other clips but they are so big.

The caterham was obviously not trying.

I could post you a copy - then again I dropped some DVD's at your office along time ago - then never heard anything.......

Audio quality is just mono on one channel - and the mic was behind Paul's seat so that needs a bit of imptovement - but I'm quite pleased with the video quality. It was mounted ontop of the wing right next to the end plate - infact you can see in the corner of the picture -I didn't realise just how wide angle the lense was! -I recon on the under side of the wing next time.

You did? I'm really sorry but I didn't get anything that I can remember. Where did you drop them off? 1BL or Whitfield Street?

Can you let me know when and I'll chase up where they got to (can you remember what sort of envelope they were in).

It was a long time ago now! - Never mind, I seem to remember asking for you and they said you had gone out to lunch So I left it at reception for you - It was in car footage (with a wide angle lense) of the M400 prototype being driven around Rockingham by Shorty - I obviously still have the original somewhere (god knows where!)

I've burnt 6 or seven shorts of the best bits of the laps onto a CD and I'm also forwarding Guy's original DVD that he made.

Paul - what split do you want to go for?!?!

Then again I would have strapped it to my own car if the manifolds hadn't blown! - ANyone know when the factory will have stock again?
