Discussion
If you want to see photos of Jools, Obes, MrNoble, AshM400, Broad, Worty and MattFP they're in my Gallery in the NobleOwnersClub site.
WARNING...it's not pretty! Not safe for those of a nervous disposition.
Martin.
PS - the ladies were a lot (and I mean one hell of a lot) nicer, but I decided to spare thier blushes.

Can't see em :-(
Try this www.nobleownersclub.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=883
It raises an interesting question Ash's inability to see them.
These could of course have been put on Nobletv.co.uk where absolutly everyone could see them.
I'm in two minds what to do about NobleTV - clearly if people now think the owners club website is the place for photos then that's fine, but it does require registration and it seems linking (that second link doesn't work at all for me) is somewhat problematice. That may limit the reach / useability of it, whereas with NobleTV I tried to make the linking almost foolproof.
I'll leave NobleTV running for the forseeable future, but it would be appreciated getting a steer from the regular photo posters where they now see things going.

I agree, time to decide and not just the photos!
Noble TV is very easy to use and its only failing is Justin's failure to put up the photos from my Brands Hatch MESC race!
I'm happy to support wherever the flow goes but I just wish it would stay put in one place. We now haev 3 sites for messages and 4 sites for photos.

Not if you have to register to browse. Completely ruins it imho.
Why, you only have to do it once, must be quicker than having to jump from one site to the next?
Why require registration to browse?
Frankly I don't think the world needs any more noble discussion forums, so mandatory registration is just an irritation, especially as I don't want to register, just to see Martin's photos!
The reason why the link did not work was because Martin changed the permission on his folder to deny general access.
I've resolved that and made it viewable by all again.
The gallery software on the owners club site allows users to post up photos which can only been seen by other members.
Some people are happy for their snaps to be accessible by the public, however some just want only other owners to see the photos. They have a choice.
I don't think there is any reason for the other sites, such as nobletv to disapear. If it is useful to the owners, then I'll put a link on the owners club portal page so people don't forget it's there.

I really feel that it would be best to have just 2 forums.
1) Being this one that remains the same and public both here and on NOC (via Noble drivers as Ted agreed) (the NOC site could be log-in as usual, while the same content here is public, that keeps a feeling of exclusivity to owners not interested or clued up about ph)
2) A Noble owners private forum to registered owners only. (on NOC via log-in) (where the factory and maybe even company owners can comment in private)
It will become a real pain to have to check onto 3 sites every day (x times) and to have to post the same thing on both sites to ensure its heard. Having the ph and NOC public forum as one and the same is the only fair way IMHO.
As to the photo's, I think the same. Noble TV is great and we all owe Justin a pint for that, but it makes extreme sense now that there is a NOC, to have the "gallery" section of that accomodated by the brilliantly functional nobletv site.
Jools, I hope you agree with this, please give your comments. I would also think that this solution will be a whole lot easier to run and watch. I fear that having 3 separate forums could actually dilute attention and consiquently, interest!
My 3p.

I was trying to make one of my albums...one with the cars on the grid at Brands...for Jools' only, but being a computer dunce I obviously got something wrong. I didn't want to post my photos all over the place as it would devalue the Brands CD/DVD
Sorry.
Justin, I assumed you would be putting them up on Nobletv with all the other photos of Brands...my bad.
My view on the amount of forums?
1) Pistonheads - for everything cars, for everybody.
2) Nobleownersclub - need to register so we know if you are an owner. If you are, you get access to to Owners Only Page. (Sorry Simon) I feel strongly that this will be the only place where everyone will feel they can talk freely without upsetting the factory/dealers. Gallery availible if you prefer to post there.
3) Nobletv - Gallery if you prefer to post there. THE archive for all video, it's all in one place, in an easy to use, clitch free (it seems) enviroment.
Martin.
