Both his show cars were work in progress last year, so not all the bits were connected up.

This was at the AutoSport show in January !!! ( black tuscan with arch extensions and carbon boot bonnet& roof in case its a different car)
One of my pet hates is nice heavy roll bars just behind your head, not fixed down properly or at all !!!! Not a very good advert for your engineering or common sense !!!

It would eat yours alive, is worth more and is a nicer colour IMHO. no honking smileys etc added.
I would have thought that the owner and the guy who did the work would be p1ssed off! He's done something original that pushes the envelope, though it has been toned down a fair bit now. I like it and respect the amount of time, hard work and dosh that went into it.
Thank God TreVoR, Martin and Peter didn't stand still or listen to people who expressed their opinion so harshly. Otherwise we would never have had the Speed 12, Tuscan, Sagaris, Griff etc etc. It was originally a Factory sponsored development car i believe. if you don't like it, fine. say so. but leave the nasty smileys out of it.
its not as if you like Std cars is it with a P1 and a T350.

Tvrs with modded bodies do seem to get treated fairly harshly on here....
Even the fantastic Thorpedo has people that hate it ( although most just run away when they see it
) as its not a Tuscan or a wedge.... I did think my comments were fair though... an unbolted roll bar is dangerous and having the nos bottles there but unconnected does look very naff to me but thats only my opionion
, although i do notice that in the other shot the roll bar is removed so maybe its only there for pictures. The carbon bits looked nice though...

It actually growing on me, but then I'm not a massive fan of the standard Tuscan 
The thing is, as anyone whos ever modded a car will tell you, is any money you spend on mods you can kiss goodbye to ever seeing again, in some cases it makes the car worth less than standard, whether thats £1k on some wheels or £100k on a carbon body.
So as facelift Tuscans are about £40k, it's at least £20k too expensive, and as the mods run to a little more than upgrading from 16's to 18's
the number of potential buyers is tiny.
Cars like this always seem to be 'for sale' anyone that flicks through the classifieds will probably have noticed a MINI in a flip paint that was apparently £32k a year ago, now for sale at £23k and has been for sale for months, buyers like nice 'standard' motors I s'pose

I have had a good look at this car. It is maintained by Gregg at Newlun design, along with a similarly extrovert T350, and a 7 colour flip painted tuscan. The Carbon Tuscan was not originally done by Newlun, but the T350 and the other tuscan were. Accepting that the styling is a matter of taste, you have to admire the work that went into the cars. I have picked up the bonnet of the Tuscan... it weighs nothing!. The cost to engineer a one off carbon project like this must have been huge, and the carbon is nicely done, it is a skillful job to lay carbon up well.
The T350 has had a lot of criticism on here, and I must confess I am not a big fan of the front end, but again, a huge amount of work went into it. There are no added on bits and pieces, it is an entire new body, moulded from scratch. The other tuscan is run for Clarion, the audio company, hence the slightly OTT sound system. These cars are run specifically as show cars, concepts, if you like. They exist to draw people onto exhibition stands, and they certainly do that.
