My doggie is getting jealous of all the attention that puppy is getting.

My sis and bro-in-law just got a Rottweiler pup. When I visited last weekend he still hadn't got a name. Four and half months old - they got him via a dog's home as the previous owners simply couldn't keep him for one reason or another.

I started call him "Buster!".

Mainly because said with enough conviction it sounds a lot like "Bastard!"

Anything chewable, and most things that aren't, get the toothy treatment. Little bugger.

My advice: get that training going right now. You don't want to be fixing an unruly little monster in six months time....love 'em. Its not the dogs...its the owners....

Ah know what you mean. Pastry to make. Vegetables to clean. Pie dish to prepare. Oven to heat.

Worth it in the end for a decent Puppy Pie though.

Talking of which did anyone else here the thing on R4 about them eating dogs? Horrible. Was about to turn it off before it made me cry, when I was notified that my own dog had jumped onto the table at home and triggered the burgler alarm, forcing me to drop everything and go home to reset the wretched thing (the alarm, not the dog). But at least I missed the awful dog butchery in China.
