Castle Race Engines to offer TVR owners another option

Jamie Rogers (formerly the manager of TVR Power Ltd), has setup his own engine company, Castle Race Engines.

Specialising in high performance engines and engineering, he's got experience ranging from Off Road Racers, Formula 1 Power Boats, Formula 1 Stock Cars, TVR’s (both road and Tuscan Challenge), Le Mans and Indycars.

The new company is offering parts (gaskets, cams, cranks, pistons etc) to full engines. Rebuilds are offered with fixed labour rates and all rebuilds are fully blueprinted or "race prepared".

Lovely jubbly, an other facility for fettling ( )our sp6's (amongst other engines I hasten to add) ..............can only help bring down the cost of a re-build over time!!!!!!!!!! There must be a market for it out there

I want my GTI-6 engine rebuilt to be a bit more aggressive, but I imagine that's a bit low end for these boys...

Hi Folks,

Jamie has my 4.3 motor in for a refresh/big valves/porting to heads and inlets/carbon trumpet base/cam/ etc, he even ensures that cores plugs are changed and the block is pressure tested afterwards, getting it acid dipped too..

I am confident that he will produce a sweet engine.

For anyone who has not met Jamie you will find that he is an approachable chap, and very keen to produce high standards of workmanship, from experience I know that he is one of the "good" one's in the TVR community, however I understand that he will be working on a variety of engines not just the AJP/Speed 6/RV8.
