Got my new premium and its gone up a lot, got quotes from lots of online companies and a few brokers and there all more expensive, none of my requirements have changed. Is it just me or have the insurance companies decided they dont like M400's

My renewal last month was only about £50 more than last year. Interestingly I asked how much cheaper it would be without the wife on, as she's only driven it once. Reply "hmmm you might want to leave her on, it's £150 more with her OFF the policy!"

Just got a letter through from Privilage saying that they will beat any quote if you have 4+ yrs NCD. Worth a try don't you think.

Did you try the usual lot? Auto torque, Comp car ins, classic car ins etc. Also Adrian Flux? Hate to say it, but there are (i think) lots of small insurance companies listed in the back of mags like Max Power that I found good and cheap when insuring my elise aged 21.

Natwest (AKA Tescos, Direct Line etc.) slammed mine up by 50% on renewal.

Go onto their website, fill in my details, and it's £350 cheaper than their "absolute best" renewal offer, so they can sod off.

Got massivly cheaper from Adrian Flux and Competition Car - both have track day but there are pros and cons to each.

All the other "non specalist" seem to be having a downer - give Adrian Flux and CCI a ring.

Mine's with privelege. @£1100 I don't think that is too bad for a 30year old, and the wife. Couple of year ago the EVO's renewal was £1800!

Tescos is Natwest is Llyods is Direct Line.

All 40%+ more expensive for me this year than last, and 30%+ more than I got quoted from Adrian Flux & CCI.

Was with Norwich Union Direct, first year £730, now £1500. I think that there must have been a lot of Nobles in hedges last year, looks like the insurance cartels have re-classified them.

£912 first try, but then when you include what you get elsewhere for standard (no voluntary excess, hire car, protect NCD) it goes up to a whopping £1200!

Still can't seem to be Adrian Flux - any other ideas?
