I'm keen on getting an MP3 for my forthcoming holidays.
Any thoughts or advice on which one?
My preference at the moment is for an IRiver, a H10 20Gb.

Anyone here with one??

Sort of depends what you want really and also how many songs you want to carry around with you.

The 3 most important things are
a. battery life
b. amount of tunes you can load
c. loading software

The Sony MP3 Walkman has excellent a. and b. but rubbish c. by all accounts.

What's your budget?

Budget: around £200
At the moment I've got about 12Gb of songs on my PC.
Most of the MP3's on the market seem to offer about 10 -12 hours life, which is plenty for me.
I sort of favour the Iriver because it's NOT an Apple, has a radio and from all accounts has a better screen which does'nt scratch as easily.

spot on...i have a new sony walkman...they are great...the software is un-usable so go to the sony site and download the alternative which is called "sonic-stage".....this is much better.....get the 20Gb one one amazon for £175 (which is the cheapest around i could find)....go for it!!!

Which colour did you go for? I like the black 20GB one

i got the girly purple one (violet) as it was the first one i saw and fell in love with it.....and it means i have something purple to hold in each hand
