I'm looking for typical rules/format for a round of pub golf (9 holes) for a gentlemen's evening out!

Anyone organized this before and have some sample rounds/rules/penalties they could send me?

Or any other advice...........

Cheers
Darren

I've done this round manchester. The rules we play to is to map out a course (9 pubs/bars to start with) what drink we are all going to have in each pub and what the par for that pob is. The par refers to how many swallows you take of your drink. Therefore a pint of lager may be a par 4, 1 shot of vodka a par 2 a glass of wine a par 3 etc. The winner is the one with the lowest score under par. We always have it that the loser has to buy the last round. However, he has to go to the cash point sans trousers

tit cricket is far more fun.

Mind you, close call. As Jimmy Carr said, "serious sexual assault or a bit of fun?" you decide.

Brutal application of the usual rules of conduct
throughout the golfing session should help things
along. A few oldies-but-goldies;

- Left handed drinking only.

- Use of the word 'Finish' at any time mandates
that you see off whatever you're drinking at the time.
(A real sod when golfing in Helsinki, I can tell you).

- During daylight golfing, no looking out of the windows.

It doesn't tell you how you are "out" though. Slapped is "caught". Kick in the shins is LBW.

A set of dice is useful for determining the beverage
and par at each hole, and is more entertaining.

I'd imagine "Retired Hurt" is quite common.

1. Pick 9 0r 18 pubs
2. Designate each pub a par, par 3 for eg is swigs of the drink although a 3 second breather is aloud mid swig, shots penalties introduced if longer than 3 secs is taken.
3. Only Pints can be consumed
4. designate certain pubs as sand traps (only these can be used to go to the toilet) each time you go to the toilet in a no bumker pub you lose a point.)
5. Full golfing attire must be warn.
6. Each person can have a handicap (You decide the rules on this)
7. Nobody is aloud to be called by their real name (Mr Chairman rules over all disputes, Mr Club Captain dishes out punishments, Mr Weights and measure decides how much of the punishment drink should be drunk, Mr Snitch informs the captain of any rule breaking, these are mandatory. Left handed drinking, thumb game (when the chairman puts his thumb on the table everyone must do so last person drinks etc....)
8.
