I'm in the process of buying another one. Already booked the time off work. Not sure whether to sort myself out or go with the TVRCC...

You may not get tickets through the TVRCC now, they've been available for nearly two weeks and probably sold out. I suggest you get in touch with them asap if you want to go that way. I don't thnk the ACO ticket office opens until Feb so you should be able to get tickets through them.

We only decided to go last weekend. I rang TVRCC Monday and they said they still have plenty of tickets left - only Lagache stand is sold out. Sent form off, rang them again yesterday and they confirmed we had got what we wanted.

I guess that a lack of TVR's on the track this year mean there is less demand....?

Your only issue will be getting across the channel. Plenty of availability from Dover if you don't mind the longer drive through France but I'm not sure if there will be many spaces left from Portsmouth to Caen / Le Havre / Cherbourg.

Was planning on taking the S this year - but as it's still sitting in my garage with no TAX or MOT and in need of a fair bit of work it ain't gonna happen .

Oh well - there's always next year (when hopefully I'll have the chassis sorted, respray and a bit more power ) .

So looks like if I go it will be by coach (again) for a very short weekend!

I was planning on taking my S this year . I really missed it last year watching everyone drive down from Calais. I was in a tintop.

I still may get there this year but am not sure what car I will be in.

Yep mine is going again this year.
Mrs Mick and I are traveling down with the berkshire posse.
And hopefully we'll be traveling back in it and not the Kia hire car that we ended up in when the S through a fit.

Yes, I'm going in my S3, along with a DB5, XJR, Elise, Boxster S, MGB GT and a Subru support vehicle. Poole to Cherbourg crossing at 23:45 on the Wednesday before.
Looking forward to it already
