Its on tonight Channel 4 at 11:05pm. Why do some people live long and healthy lives, while others die younger and after painful illnesses? This new four-part series - which follows last year's Anatomy For Beginners - explores the reality of disease and death, and attempts to answer such crucial questions, through a series of dissections of human cadavers by anatomist Dr Gunther von Hagens.

Sounds quite good. Not for the weak stomachs among us.

Sorry, it just sounded like a plug, that's all! And I know if I was a TV company I'd definitely get one of my employees to go on forums and advertise my programmes as a "member of the public".

It does look quite interesting.

It shows you how disease and illness affects your organs, everything from cancer to shock to septecemia (sp?) looks so interesting.

Maybe you should come and work for C4 then as nobody has positively encouraged it so far!!

Thanks for the heads up, I wanted to watch this and had forgotten about it. Last series was brilliant, but definitely not for those who don't like seeing the human body being taken apart. I bet they do bloody lung cancer just before my goodnight

The likeness to Freddy Kruger is startling What's with the hat anyway?

Fascinating show and the previous series was not as gruesome as I thought it would be. Worth staying up for IMO.

I found it fascinating. It's on again tonight, all about cancer. I hope I manage to stay awake to watch it. It's not the sort of thing I can record and watch when Little Trackside's around.
