Apologies if this has been asked before.

Can a latest model UK PSP play games bought from the USA - or do you need some sort of "de-region" code / patch - or can't it be done?

Thanks

The games will play on any machine - they are not region protected. Only the movies are region-locked.

I just bought one off Amazon UK - £174.99 including PSP Value Pack + Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition + Mercury. Seems an incredibly good deal seeing as the do the Value Pack on its own for £179.99!

my white psp from japan plays games from the uk without a problem, and luckily japan uses the same region for dvd and UMD as we do and therefore i can watch the UK UMD's aswell (not that i have any)

I paid £125 for a value pack in japan! Not much can beat that.

Anyone got a US sourced PSP? And, can you play UK movies on it? A mate of mine is over there at the moment and offered to pick me one up for $249 (approx £142).

Cheers, Steve

Only US movies as the films are still region encoded, games will be ok though.
