Battery and charging

My battery keeps going flat. Went on holiday for 2 weeks and came home to find it needed jump starting. Went on a long run to give it a good charge, but it was flat again just 3 days later.

My main problem is that I have no mains supply near where I keep my car.

Any one have any ideas? Joust, I couldn't find the charger details on your site that you mention in an older post.

It comes with a wire-inable conenctor that you can bolt to the battery leads and then leave hanging around (suitably cable tied up) in the wheelarch / engine bay for easy connection.

Alternativly, why not buy one of these?



If you buy one that has a ciggy lighter socket output, then you can just leave it in the car, get a "male to male" ciggy lighter cable, and plug one into the lighter socket of the car. It will then drain both your car battery and this one, giving you 20-30 days.

Take it out of the car, charge it up indoors, and then stick it back in when you need it.

Another alternative is the solar cell chargers - If you can lay it on the garage roof and it collects enough solar energy to convert into a trickle charge for the battery.

Try Maplin.

That is part of my problem, my car is in an underground carpark, as I live in town.

But, hopefully the Pro Starter will solve the problems.
