As the headlong dash to the wedding day of myself and mrs whirly accelerates to a steady crawl, I have been tasked with the construction of the wedding list. Piece of (wedding) cake, I think to myself, wander round the web, ticking things off that I fancy, then get other people to pay for them.

Little did I know, one of the prime requests from the betrothed, is a piece of culinary genius that has formed part of her life until now.... the spork.

For those who are not aware this implement is a fork, spoon and knife in one handy piece, perfect for curry, pasta or paella. A tantalising hoard was found below...

Unfortunately, her spork examples are many years old, and bear no identifying spork manufacturing marks to aid my quest. The usual search of Google, provides only fan clubs to the mystical beast (very strange people are sporklovers).

So my appeal to all Pheaders, aid my plight or she may not allow me the 150piece socket set or the trolley jack that I have identified as essentials for marrital bliss.

There used to be a fast food chain that sold baked potatoes with various topping that came supplied with a disposable spork. In fact if you food shop in M&S (sandwich bits in the city) you can still get them. Didnt know they made metal versions

Still can't find the ones I bought 20+ years ago, most of which have vanished.
