I was unfortunate enough to have to use that dreadful means of mass socialist transportation tonight, the train.

Whereas in yesterday the journey would have been made bearable by the sight of pretty young fillies in short skirts, today not a sight of leg could be discerned by my wandering eye.

Scores of attractive young women and not a single one wearing a skirt. When did this shocking decline in the wardrobe of the nation's women come about?

I remember as a young lad, going into London to seek my fortune, being struck dumb by the quality of the legs on view.

Has anyone else noticed this change in the office?

Sometime in early November usually.

Don't you know about the ugly bus?

Basically at the start of the cold weather it goes round london and takes all the scantily clad summer beauties away and replaces them with fat munters. Then when summer comes around it brings them back and takes the fat munters away to texas or somewhere. Hence the appearence of more pretty fit girls wearing not much in summer

It's winter which might have a little bit to do with it, bit cold for that sort of thing, you still see a few out though

Wait until summer.

It might do

I still think things have changed though

I remember when a memo came round my work saying the dress code had changed and women could wear trousers now if they wanted.

I still see stacks of lovely legs every day. Maybe something to do with the extra temperature of the South Coast

Jaglover is married si he's probably not allowed out to play, hence his voyueristic tendancies on the train, which have irritated him so much that he started a thread on it, perhaps he was hoping to some pervert would post some pictures to make up for it.

Well I wont be doing that, here's a link instead (probabably, ok definately NSFW )

www.legs-r-us.com/

that was number one on a google search for 'legs'

putting that search term into google video brings up some interesting stuff as well...

A recession is on the way, that's why the hemlines are dropping.

I'm serious there's a good correlation between skirt length and the state of the economy. It's one of those economic indicators that works ( but no one quite knows why )

But what about the proportion of women wearing trousers

Does that have a link to the economy

etc

Stockings at this time of year, or bare flesh in the summer. I'd rather they wore trousers than tights. Tights are all "you may look but don't touch". Tights are all but inpenitrable.

In town today ( I mean the West End of London, as opposed to Broadmead Bristol) I noted that pedal-pushers are making a serious come back, which is quite OK on the right legs. Sadly, I noticed that some silly girls have bought shoes with wedges rather than proper heels. Better than flatties but still not the real deal.
